Call for Award Nominations: Deadline March 27, 2020
    The ISEE Awards Committee is soliciting nominations by March 27, 2020. Different awards are for specific career stages from senior scientists (John Goldsmith Award for Outstanding Contributions to Environmental Epidemiology), mid-career (Tony McMichael Mid-Term Career Award), and new investigator (Rebecca James Baker Award). The committee is also seeking nominations for the Research Integrity Award and the Best Environmental Epidemiology Paper Award. ISEE North America Chapter Webinar:  Time Management

 ISEE 2020:  Individual Abstract Submissions due March 10th
A record 88 Symposia applications were received. Due to the high volume of submissions, notifications to submitters regarding Symposia, Pre-conference Workshops, and Early Morning Sessions are being sent on March 2, 2020. Abstracts affiliated with a symposium should be submitted in the abstract submission site by March 10, 2020 at 23:59 US ET. Individual abstract submissions also must be submitted by March 10, 2020 at 23:59 US ET. For additional information and to submit an abstract, please click here. 

Travel awards are primarily available for attendees currently residing in developing countries. A limited number of travel awards is also available through an NIH grant for members of under-represented groups working in the USA (all students and new researchers from a developed country are considered an under-represented group for the purpose of this award). Summer School on Modern Methods in Biostatistics and Epidemiology

The Summer School on Modern Methods in Biostatistics and Epidemiology, with teachers from Harvard University, Karolinska Instituet, and other European universities, will take place in Italy from May 31 to June 13, 2020. Registration is now open and the deadline for early registration is March 8, 2020.

The School aims to provide introductory and advanced courses in medical statistics and epidemiology, and their application to clinical and etiology research and public health.

ISEE Partners on International Conference on Environmental Research and Public Health
ISEE is a partner of the International Conference on Environmental Research and Public Health - Addressing Environmental Threats to Human Health from Pregnancy to Senility(organized in collaboration with the MDPI open access journal, IJERPH). ISEE members are eligible to receive a 20% discount to participate.*    

The Conference will bring together academic and industrial experts in environmental research and public health to share their recent findings. Special Honorary Guests will be John Ionnidis from Stanford University, Maria Neira from WHO Geneva, and Mark Nieuwenhuijsen (ISEE President).
