The HERA Project
The HERA project, funded by the EU Horizon2020 research programme, will set priorities for an environment and health research agenda in the EU for 2020-2030, closely connected to policy needs. It addresses specific exposures (e.g. endocrine disruptors), sectors (e.g. transportation) and global issues, particularly climate change. For the first time such a wide-scale initiative on setting this agenda takes place in Europe and we expect that it will be key for defining EU funding in environmental health research in the coming years. ISEE Europe members were recently sent an email from the ISEE Secretariat about participating in an online survey to identify research gaps and needs in the area of Environmental Health. The data gathered from ISEE members will inform funding priorities. For further questions regarding the survey please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
