Dan Wartenberg Cohort and Travel Award
The Dan Wartenberg Travel Award empowers those working at the intersection of science and community. Established in 2022, this award funds ISEE Annual Conference participation for individuals leading participatory environmental justice projects or collaborative efforts in occupational and environmental health.
Since its inception, the program has supported over 40 participants who are formally recognized as members of the Wartenberg Cohort. This community is designed to foster enduring networking opportunities and professional support, ensuring that researchers in this vital field remain connected and empowered long after the conference ends.
