Professor Ejaz Ahmad Khan Receives Faculty of Public Health President's Medal
Professor Ejaz Ahmad Khan is a medical doctor and public health academician with over 24 years of experience in teaching, training, and research in public health. He has specific expertise in epidemiology, environmental health and climate change, communicable and non-communicable diseases, injuries, nutrition, and disaster management. He has conducted consultancies for various national and international organisations. He has been a program manager for emergencies and crises, as well as for immunisation. He holds a medical degree and a post-graduate degree in primary health care management/public health, and a fellowship in public health. He is also an affiliate to CIEH (UK). He has published around 240 research articles, with a total of 389 research items in credits, in international journals and has an H-index of 106 and an I-10 of 115. For the three consecutive years (2022, 2023 & 2024), he has been ranked among the top 100 scientists in the world in his professional disciplines for Asia. He has several certifications and has completed short courses, and has served as an editor for national and international journals, as well as being a reviewer for various scientific journals.
Recently, Professor Ejaz Ahmad Khan has received the Faculty of Public Health (UK)'s President's Medal for outstanding contributions to public health (2025).
